Once upon a midnight dreary while I pondered weak weary.
In days before the government made self-isolation law.
While I started to nod off, suddenly there came a cough.
As of one whose health was off.
Coughing at to my chamber door.
To some visitor, I muttered.
Standing at my chamber door.
Only this and nothing more.
Open here, I flung the shutter then with many of flirt and flutter.
In their step to stately Raven, breaking through my quarantine.
No face mask was he wearing.
So his germs, he could be sharing.
Contaminating chambers, that once had sterile been.
Contaminating chambers, where I had sat two weeks afore.
Perched and sat, and nothing more.
Then this ebony bird so black, made my once healthy throat to hack.
By the grave and stern microbes, which it brought within my door.
Though me thy germs thy have given and my lungs may soon be riven.
Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wandering from the nightly shore.
Tell me what thy lordly name is blackest fiend I've ever seen.
Thus quoth the Raven.
I am Covid-19.
(suspense music) - They are looking for me.
My name is Mask.
My life is on the runs.
(dramatic music) (guns firing) - Oh, what a day, what a lovely day.
(screaming) - The ABC's of things to do, When you're stuck at home.
Act out of play, bounce a ball.
Call a friend, dance down the hall.
Explore the basement, face your fear.
Grow a plant, hail at each other.
Invent something, jump on the bed.
Neat a handwork lounge instead, make lots of art.
Nestle down with a book, observe a tree.
Plan a meal to cook.
Question things, rock and roll.
Send a note, take a poll.
Unclutter your closet, volunteer in some way.
Write a poem, X out each day.
Yawn.
Yes yawn.
It can get boring at home.
So go zest things up with an idea from this poem.
(gentle jingle) Okay.
That's all.
I have no more rhymes for you.
Use your imagination.
You can do it.
You got this.
