And the condo just feels like actually a home because of the size and the high ceilings.
RICARDO: I love high ceilings.
JEN: We love the high ceilings.
Well, I'm really excited to see the inside.
RICARDO: Yeah, let's take a look.
JEN: All right.
RICARDO: All right.
JEN: We'll see you afterwards for the game?
JAY: Great, take a look and I'll see you right after.
JEN: All right.
RICARDO: All right.
JAY: Okay.
JEN: Whoop-whoop!
JEN: Oh.
RICARDO: Oh, okay, yeah.
All right, Jay was right.
These are high ceilings.
I'm very impressed.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: But right here, you've got this entertainment area.
This is a cozy place to chill out.
Oh, this is great.
Look at this.
(Jen laughs).
Isn't this great?
JEN: I know you love your high ceilings.
RICARDO: I love this open concept too.
Look at this.
You feel immediately connected with every area of the house.
You've got the living area, the dining area here.
JEN: You could be in here prepping and cooking while you're watching TV with your family.
RICARDO: And then this wallpaper.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: I kind of dig this.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: I kind of dig the way it complements the cabinets.
JEN: I like the width of the kitchen.
Sometimes, you know, in a smaller kitchen, you're like shimmying past your, you know... RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: Your kids, your partner, your dogs.
RICARDO: Also, what I like about this place is you've got the open concept, but you also have little areas of privacy that you can sort of escape to.
JEN: Yeah, usually you get one or the other, right?
RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: You get privacy or you get an open space.
Oh, oh, this is much bigger than I expected.
RICARDO: And look at the size of this window.
This is perfect.
JEN: Yeah, that is a big window for a bedroom.
RICARDO: And these are interesting contemporary lighting fixtures.
JEN: Yeah.
So we have a nice big closet over here, and then I'm seeing another door in the corner.
So let's go check that out.
RICARDO: All right.
What's around here?
Ah, full bath.
JEN: Oh, cute.
RICARDO: Stand up shower, I like that.
Look at those tiles, that's nice tile work.
JEN: Yeah.
Really like that.
RICARDO: I like the large tiles.
JEN: I really like this countertop.
It's really complimenting the color palette.
Kind of like, dust, desert, you know?
RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: It's nice.
Let's see what else we got.
RICARDO: All right.
JEN: All right.
RICARDO: I have to take a look at this patio.
JEN: Okay, wait a minute, wait.
Is this not shared with another unit?
RICARDO: No, it's all this unit.
JEN: Are you kidding?
This is gigantic.
What's more coveted in condo living than access to outdoor space that is your own?
RICARDO: I love it.
JEN: I hate to pull you away, but we have to go look at this bedroom.
RICARDO: Okay.
We'll be back, we'll be back.
JEN: We'll come back.
We'll be back.
RICARDO: Ah, again, this is a nice size.
JEN: Yeah, with a beautiful window.
RICARDO: And these built-ins.
They're similar to the built-ins in the front when we walked in.
JEN: And enough space here for a Cali King bed.
RICARDO: A Cali King, yeah, you're right.
JEN: Let's see what we have down the hall.
RICARDO: Okay.
JEN: Oh, nice.
RICARDO: Okay.
JEN: Keeping with the tone of the color in here.
RICARDO: I love it, it's got a Jacuzzi tub.
JEN: It also carried over the tile work that you liked from the other bathroom.
RICARDO: It did, yeah, yeah.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: It goes halfway up.
And dual sinks.
JEN: Love the dual sinks.
RICARDO: Let's go find Jay out on that patio... JEN: Oh, the patio.
Yes.
RICARDO: And play the game.
JEN: All right, let's go.
Uh, we're finally on the patio.
RICARDO: Wow, look at this.
JEN: Gorgeous.
RICARDO: There's Jay way over there.
JEN: Hey.
JAY: So what did you think of the condo?
RICARDO: First of all, you were right about the high ceilings.
I loved it.
JEN: That was definitely not your typical condo layout, which really surprised me right when we walked through the door.
JAY: And I love the natural cherry cabinets.
RICARDO: It really made the kitchen very warm, and I love the wallpaper as well.
JAY: Mm-hmm.
JEN: And this patio.
RICARDO: Is massive.
JAY: Yes.
JEN: We thought that this patio was actually shared between multiple units before we realized that this is all yours.
RICARDO: You never have to go through the inside.
JAY: Yeah.
JEN: How convenient if you have pets.
JAY: Yeah.
JEN: So what is the condo fee here?
JAY: So the condo fee is $635 a month.
That includes all the amenities, the pool, the fitness exercise room, and two garage parking spaces.
JEN: That is a major upsell, I think.
JAY: Mm-hmm.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: Now, before we play the game... JAY: Mm-hmm.
RICARDO: Would you tell us the stats of this condo one more time?
JAY: So the condo has two bedrooms, two and half bathrooms, 1,484 square feet, and it was built in 2007.
(Jen sighs) JEN: Okay.
RICARDO: Okay.
JAY: And don't forget about the patio.
RICARDO: And the patio, yes.
JAY: Yeah.
RICARDO: All right.
JEN: Uh, how could I forget about this gorgeous space?
JAY: Yeah.
RICARDO: All that in mind, I will go first.
I will guess 612,000.
JAY: Okay.
JEN: All right, I'm gonna go a little higher than that.
RICARDO: Okay.
JEN: I'm gonna guess 655,900.
JAY: And the list price is, a little drum roll here, 675,000.
JEN: Whoa!
RICARDO: Whoa!
Wow!
JAY: Jen, congratulations on the win.
Let's go to property number two.
We're going to actually end up back in Fairfax City, where we started.
I can't wait to show you this home.
It is gorgeous.
JEN: All right.
RICARDO: All right, I'm psyched.
JEN: Me too.
