I am sending this from Genoa, where my mother and I have journeyed after Portofino.

I'm writing to apologize for an oversight on my part.
Before we left, I had meant to inform you that I would be writing a review of the Hotel Portofino for the Green Guide.
I enclose a copy in the hope it will make up for this rudeness on my part.
