During the two years of the Panama-California Exposition up to a million people traveled from near and far, on transportation that no longer exists. The trolley transported passengers arriving to the new Santa Fe train depot to Balboa Park's very own trolley station, at the doorstep of the Park and all the Exposition fun. Imagine what it would be like if the trolley still ran to Balboa Park today!
