During the 1935 Exposition in Balboa Park, The Ford Motor Company had a major exhibit within what is now the Air and Space Museum. Behind the Museum, just down the steps, you can still see traces of what was a demonstration road to show off the capabilities and smooth ride of the 1935 Ford. Along the walls of the Museum, murals from that time pay tribute to America's transportation history.
