KEN KRAMER'S ABOUT SAN DIEGO

The California Tower, Balboa Park

  • Rating: NR
Built as part of the California Building at the 1915 Exposition, the California Tower is the most familiar landmark in Balboa Park. The tower was closed from 1935 to 2015. This video takes us up the spiral staircase to the very top for a rare 'inside' view of a place seen only from afar for decades. Once again open to the public we can enjoy it, and the amazing view, for generations to come.
